CapeAfrica media has acquired the very latest in state-of-the-art large format printing technology which allows us to print full colour 6 or 11 colour digital imagery for indoor and outdoor on various substrates to meet each client’s individual needs.

ROLAND XJ740
1.8 metre wide six-colour (CMYKLcLm) or four-color (CCMMYK) XJ740 XJ built on Roland’s renowned SOLJET technology to achieve exceptional image quality at higher print speeds. With a maximum print speed of 42.6m2/hr (458.61sqft/hr) and 1440 x 1440 dpi resolution the XJ740 delivers dense, rich colors for indoor and outdoor graphics that look great up close and at a distance. The XJ has been optimized to achieve unparalleled image quality in every print mode and produces flawless skin tones, high-contrast images, and solid colors with no traces of banding even at the highest print speeds.

Epson Stylus Pro 9900
The Stylus Pro 9900 sets a new standard for the professional large format printer market.  The very latest in hi-resolution printing technology offer a 11-colour Epson UltraChrome™ HDR ink set, expanding UltraChrome™ K3 with Vivid Magenta by adding Orange and Green. The printer utilizes 10-channel Epson MicroPiezo TFP™ print head for accurate and reliable imaging with the highest image quality and Epson Variable-sized Droplet Technology for optimum speed, ink usage, efficiency and image detail.

An improved ink formulation, a new printer mechanism and a raft of new technologies make these two new additions to the Epson Stylus Pro range ideal for production and contract proofing, as well as the highest quality fine-art and photographic applications.

The Epson Stylus Pro 9900 uses Epson new LUT technology and super halftone technology for smooth gradations, less graininess and quality greyscale.
